I was lucky enough to attend the Marks and Spencer SS2013 press day yesterday to get a first glimpse at their new collection.
First things first. Canapés were undoubtedly incredible. Tempura courgette and mozzarella risotto balls pretty much sums it up. And I made the mistake of greeting Pixie Lott as if she was my friend. Moving on.
Next season, M&S is displaying some foot-forward new trends and designs. Themes including Doll House designs, statement collar/necklace combinations and bright, block colours are high on the agenda and show that M&S is not to be underestimated.
Some of the pieces induced a shred of doubt - I'm not sure I'm a fan of the metallic pencil skirts. However, the vintagely-beautiful lingerie collection by Rosie is a clear winner.
