Day 7: Stocking Stuffers

As I said before, I love waking up to the sight of a packed stocking stuffed with presents of all shapes and sizes. Guaranteed, a couple will be my standard yearly delivery of socks (thanks, Santa) and a Terry's Chocolate Orange or two (that's breakfast sorted). But just occasionally, Mum and Dad...I mean, Santa...comes up trumps and there's something a bit special in there.

Day 4: Christmas Clutches

I'm having my first Aussie Christmas away from the chilly London air but nevertheless, it's still party season. Every girl needs a side-kick to tackle the invite list with and help her become the belle of the ball. Day 3: Christmas Stockings

There are a few festive staples that really make Christmas for me. It doesn't matter how old I get, I always expect a Christmas tree (obviously), Christmas lunch with ALL the trimmings (yes, I need a Yorkshire pudding with my turkey) and a stocking hung on the end of my bed. 

I'm still yet to catch Santa sneak into my room and fill it with presents, all addressed with name labels looking suspiciously like my parents' handwriting. 

I've had the same stocking on the end of my bed since I was born, but in case you're looking to spice things up this Christmas, here's some big socks for big kids.

Day 2: Christmas Jumpers

They're the Christmas must-haves we all love to hate and most of us will feign delight when Auntie Pat hands us a jumper covered in snowmen for us to wear during the festive season. However, not all Christmas jumpers are to be kept at the bottom of the drawer never to see the light of day. Here's a few of the best.

Day 1 - Watches.

Watches always make a classic gift idea and whilst it may seem like the easy way out, when there's watches as good as these available, who are you to turn them down? Treat yourself (or conveniently drop hints to a loved one that they make excellent stocking fillers) and flash some ultimate arm candy this festive season. 

Last Night I Was

...attending.

Last night saw the opening of Bershka's second Oxford Street store by Marble Arch and to mark the opening, we celebrated doing what we do best - drinking cocktails. A bar provided by hotspot Aura in Mayfair offered drinks for press and we were treated to an intimate performance by Little Mix.

I won't lie - they were awesome.

The new store looks pretty hot too. Packed with Bershka's statement pieces including military jackets, studs and a blanket of grey, the store has a cool and new electric feel.

Tonight I Am

I was lucky enough to attend the Marks and Spencer SS2013 press day yesterday to get a first glimpse at their new collection.

First things first. Canapés were undoubtedly incredible. Tempura courgette and mozzarella risotto balls pretty much sums it up. And I made the mistake of greeting Pixie Lott as if she was my friend. Moving on.

Next season, M&S is displaying some foot-forward new trends and designs. Themes including Doll House designs, statement collar/necklace combinations and bright, block colours are high on the agenda and show that M&S is not to be underestimated.

Some of the pieces induced a shred of doubt - I'm not sure I'm a fan of the metallic pencil skirts. However, the vintagely-beautiful lingerie collection by Rosie is a clear winner.
