London's Light Bar in St Martin's Lane Hotel is a unique and stylish venue with truly exceptional cocktails. My friend and I headed out for casual Tuesday night drinks (...feeling a little under-dressed having come straight from the office) and were really amazed at the menu of choice available.
I opted for the Gingerbread Crumble cocktail and, whilst I'm normally dubious about such sweet-sounding drinks, it really was amazing. It always helps when cocktails look pretty (so us girls can upload photos to Instagram) and Light Bar did not disappoint.
The atmosphere is chilled and cool and the staff are (sometimes a little too) friendly. We also sampled a few of the appetizers including breaded mushrooms, burgers 2 ways and sweet potato croquettes. For a special treat/fancy something a bit different/pay day date night, it's a an easy choice.
